If she thinks she wants to work with students on the autism spectrum, Texas pays parapros the same as what she’s making at the hotel. She would not need a bachelor’s and could get an idea of if that’s really what she wants to do (and possibly find the motivation to be more responsible) or not before she’s spent all that time on a degree.
I’m in community college 😂it’s gonna take two years for my prerequisites and maybe 2 more years for the rest of the classes all that for registered nursing and ontop if that I already am in a program working for a hospital it’s best to pick and stick to one thing especially if you don’t have the money to be doing whatever this person is doing

I have a family member with a Psy. D who has been working with kids – first as a teacher, then as a Gestalt play therapist WITH a doctorate – and she makes about $50-60k a year. So good luck with your bachelor’s. You would be better off getting your lswc with a masters.
Why do so many people who look like her, act like her, think like her and are generally in a self made shitty life always studying psychology? If you can't fix yourself you won't fix anyone. You'll make them worse.
What bothers me about this girl is that she is studying psychology because other fields didn't appeal to her. Her sense of responsibility doesn't seem to be the most suitable for a health-related field

I've been on 'probation' before. It sucks. It took me two years at a community college in the trades to get out of that. College is NOT for everyone.
