I like your channel but how would people who are already spending more than what they make devise a plan to save 385 dollars a month. Also, how could you save 800+ per month when your debt obligations outweigh your inflows?
I really saved about $150k from the pandemic until now. Didn't spend the stimulus money, saved tax returns, and invested stock, started saving $ 1000 or 1200 every month and than now is saving on average $ 2000 or 2300 per month. Incomestreams : 1. gig, 2.invest stock, 3. dividend from stock, 4. monthly dividend etf's. maybe is gonna be $ 360k 47age in korea.
All he said is fine just put that money that you are saving into something like VOO average returns from 8%to like 10% but it can be less or more but is a very safe investment in the long run because all the gains you get reinvested again and again.
Number 2 option get a part time job pay all your things with your first job and invest what you make on your second job.
#3 start a side hustle side business that can be done on your time off that will eventually growth big enough to leave your main job and be your own boss long run better for you.
whats the point of saving $1000 or even $5000 when that money can dissappear in a blink of an eye in a first world country?
do u know how many times i have $2 to $3000 in my savings account and i walked into a casino and the next thing i know im broke?
even if i dont gamble, sometimes i challenge myself to go on a savings challenge that year and manage to save $7,$8000 that year…..and u kind of relaxed and take it easy the next year and before u know it, u kind of overspend and indulge abit too much here and there and six months later that $7k savings is back to 0.
there is no point in saving unless the end game is a meaningful sum of money…..otherwise saving is just a lifetime sentence of constraint and forced delayed gratification….i dont want to live like a prisoner for life just to have a moment of glory…..spending 4 years just to save $50,000….and then smoking it away in crack or cocaine or heroine in six months….do u know how much a cocaine habit cost in america?

First I want to thank you for the valuable information. A month ago I lost my job. The first shock was
The second shock is that I have no money available
I receive a salary of $ 2000 in Saudi Arabia. No taxes are deducted from the salary. The company pays me housing, food, drink, electricity and all expenses.
The third shock
I searched for answers to why I have no money. My expenses are zero.
I found the answer on YouTube, which is that I have bad habits and a poor mentality. I moved from one YouTuber to another and found a lot of information, but it did not lead me in the right direction.
Because their ages are young, I am 48 years old, in other words, I did not know where to start until I found you.
Thank God, I found a new job. I paid myself first, set a budget, reduced expenses and increased another source of income. I look forward to saving $ 5000 by the end of this year.
Thank you very much for simplifying and facilitating the explanation and communicating the information to everyone. The African Zorba
So im 30 so is saving 100k of liquid cash by the age off 33 is that a bad plan ? I have a job and make about 700 a week after taxes maybe more sometimes is that a good idea just push it out
Cut out Starbucks coffee etc. It costs you about $4 for a cup. Assuming you buy one per day Monday to Friday…. this equals $960 a year!!!! Some of you buy more than one coffee a day. Buy a jar of instant coffee for $5-10 and it will last you for months and it also tastes good (for me even better than Starbucks etc). Another thing is work lunch… $5-10 a day….that's another approximately $1000 per year because you're lazy to make food yourself from time. So easily you can save $2000 a year just by stopping buying coffee and lunch.
Pay yourself first is the key 🔑 you don’t see it you won’t miss it and you live accordingly to the money you have ! And bingo it adds up first ! I use acorns to save! I have money taken out of my checking act every week !

I do DoorDash as a side hustle and it only takes me 1 hour to get around $30. I take that and put it towards my savings plan.
