  1. ▶ She says that she can't let men pay for dinner, or else she'll be a victim and have to have s*x with them. We talk about that in today's post-show- watch here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLe_q9axMaeTbjN0hy1Z9xA/join

  2. I resonate so heavy with “they’re gonna hold it over my head”. I’ve genuinely paid for people when I couldn’t afford it myself, because I’m so used to nice things being used against me. “I paid for our outing, so now you have to let me do x” “I paid for your clothes when you were little so you can’t complain that I beat you”. At some point, it becomes mentally easier to just pick up that extra shift instead of the dirty feeling you get when people mention the financial things they do for you

  3. 15:00 this is the fault of the media. Regardless of your race, if you are competent, then you should get a scholarship. She seems like a good person but has been misguided by so many people.

  4. This must have popped up on my feed because some AI realized the relationship of her wanting to attending medical school and me being a physician. Failing the MCAT three times is a major red flag. Medical school is suffering for the 1% of the class, let alone the bottom 30%. I only made it 1/3 of the way and couldn't handle her anymore. Doctors do have horrible financial knowledge, but I was curious and watched snippets of a few more episodes and I think our ability to embrace delayed gratification means that most of the issues on this channel just don't apply. Until one year into me being an attending I literally ate ramen, groceries from Aldi, walked my ass to the grocery store….and then to see people putting door dash on credit. Holy shit even to this day I'll go pick up takeout because I can't justify the cost…the laziness amongst people is unreal, hard to even have empathy for those in credit card debt after watching this channel.

But the MOST ALARMING thing is her comment about her being white and not getting scholarships…

Now I FINALLY understand why I have to do fucking implicit bias training every few months. It is a drain on my mental health the amount of modules we are required and everytime the implicit bias modules pop up I want to roll over. I never understood how someone going into a profession dedicated to helping everyone, to help and support those who are most disenfranchised, needs implicit bias training. Now I understand why. And now that you may go to Idaho, you need 10x the modules starting day 1. All I can say is from a medical perspective, do better. Do so much better. And definitely don't go into forensic medicine. You're implicit bias is going to ruin people's lives even after death. But also don't go into other medicine, because your implicit bias will misdiagnose and destroy people's lives.

  5. I don’t know why but I like her, she’s a sweet girl, if she had better parents she would be doing much better. Being raised by a thief for a father is just so sad…..❤ wishing her the best.

  6. I’ll say the military path is a very viable path. Military pays for school so no more debt accrued, and it’s a guaranteed job in the field after graduation with a guaranteed paycheck for 4 years. Then when she leaves the military, it’s four years of highly respected practical experience on a resume.

  7. This chick is an idiot. Iowa doesn't grow potatoes. Like at all. Their biggest crop is corn. And idahos biggest crop is, in fact, potatoes. How can someone be so confidently wrong? Iowa is basically just covered in corn fields. And the way she acted all smart saying it. Ugh

  8. 13:13 Lol this is just blatantly completely incorrect. Idaho produces by far the most potatoes of any state, while Iowa produces (as far as I can tell) zero potatoes of any measurable commercial quantity. Meanwhile, it leads the nation in corn production. In other words, the truth is exactly the opposite of what she's saying.

On another note, it's funny how similar my situation is to hers. I am 22, also working as a CNA, also want to go to med school (and have been accepted), and also live like 20 mins away from her. She says she bombed the MCAT, and oh boy in order to only get into the Idaho med school she mentioned (Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine; the only med school in Idaho so it has to be that one) given her background as a woman with three degrees, D1 athlete, etc, she must have really bombed the MCAT.

Edit: 503 MCAT. Yeah, that'll do it. But damn the rest of her experience and app is stellar, that MCAT is a killer tho

  9. I'm surprised Caleb doesn't understand that she's putting money towards the cards and that's why she has no cash. Technically this makes sense mathematically.

The spending on frivolous nonsense like eating out is a different matter.

  10. So many white people whining isn’t he comments “She’s not wrong, no one’s giving me money for being white” a simple google search will tell you no one’s getting money for being ANY race, stop believing conspiracy theories and actually LOOK at what universities offer. But of course they won’t because they refuse to believe any minority in college isn’t there via handout

  11. She's right about the insurance. Schools require students to be insured and their student plans are pricey. I had to pay for it while i was in grad school because it wasn't covered by my tuition waiver and it took up most of my stipend.

  12. I feel like Caleb isn’t understanding the relationship between them. It’s toxic but also abusive even if she says no it’ll probably happen anyways her saying yes is making her feel more in control but she isn’t
