Three Key Takeaways: 1) Simply put, sales prospecting is the process of reaching out to people who seem like they can be good and consistent potential customers and/or clients for your company; 2) In order to find your prospects, you must create an Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and it's imperative that along with age, company size, industry, and other basic pieces of information, you also include the customer's Points of Pain (aka: issues they have that your company can solve), 3) The three most basic and commonly used methods for reaching out to prospects are Cold Email, LinkedIn, and Cold Calling. While all three have their pros and cons, the first two are much more reliable and convenient, while cold calling tends to be a little less scalable
Thanks for this.. its helpful. One suggestion, can you use a whiteboard? You writing on the sheets with the marker, is creating an unbearable noise..making it difficult to listen to the video
Great video, Patrick! By the way, if you are into trying new things, give Mystrika a spin. It is really helped me increase my open rates exponentially. Plus, their pay once and use forever deal? Too good to pass up!
HI @Patrick .. Following you on youtube and linked for having a lot of strategies and tactics. If we talk about finding the pain points, is there a way, we could find a particular way to identify pain points for a specific industry. If yes, could you please mention some of the ways. ???
Great content. I have noise sensitivity and the marker drawing on the paper sound keeps giving me chills as I hear the video, so I can’t finish it, even tried keeping the volume low.
hi sir, could you make a video on how can someone do sales? I mean could you show us live how can we get/hunt get and close deal . Also show the tools by using we can hunt client. Thanks
Isn't a prospect actually a LEAD that is closer to buying? You said that "prospects might be or may not be a good fit" , aren't leads the type of people you experiment most on? Are you maybe using a different funnel?
All great stuff! I was Previously an Automotive salesperson for 11 years, but now for the last 5 years a Business Development Rep for a Restoration and Mold Remediation company here in Southern California. My main verticles are Property Management companies, HOA property management, Realtors, Commercial realty, etc. B2B is a bit of a new passion of mine and I wanted to touch on your description of ICP… Something else you might want to touch on is that All information should be entered into either a personal or company database, ex. Company CRM (Hubspot or Google sheets, etc.) Also, the importance of being involved in industry events, educational expos, and their local chamber of commerce can help immensely. None of this is really mentioned so I thought I would throw in my two cents. Keep em coming!
Do you have any suggestions on how to actually obtain an email? No one puts their personal email on a website anymore and I am not sure its worth paying to message on LinkedIn
Thnanks bro
kwAI is trying to make it easier to prospect. Idk but I'm really excited to try it when they launch!
Sound of the pen is irritating and found it really a problem after reading few comments 😀
those who mute the video when patrick's pen touches the board, here…
