  1. Vast majority of my portfolio is in fairly safe dividend stuff. There are a few things I do take risks on though; Solar and EV battery tech stocks. Basically I look for things that we have increasing need for that will get wrecked if relations with China keep going to hell. lol

Had a business teacher tell me one time "Never invest money you can't afford to lose." I think that is great advise for anything, but especially when betting on anything risky.

  2. 34 years in S&P 500 index and it has averaged just over 10% per year. It’s a marathon, not a sprint. I’ve also did individual stocks and precious metals, but it became a job and I already had a job so I sold those.

  3. Yo G I disagree about using margin can be beneficial if u know how to use it for some1 like my self all depend on strategy don’t listen to everything these finance gurus say margin can go both ways good or bad all depends

  4. I have the three fund portfolio setup in my Roth IRA. I have voo vug and schd. I was thinking of adding Nvidia at 5 percent would this be smart or a bad idea? I know Nvidia is a holding in both voo and vug already

  5. I am still pretty young so I don’t mind a higher risk portfolio. Roth currently focuses on SCHD,VOO, and Nvidia. Regular brokerage is mainly VOO, Nvidia, and some random newer companies like Joby and ACHR.

  6. Thanks Professor G! You break down investing the way Dave Ramsey breaks down personal finance. I found you about 2 months ago and I'm so glad.

From the title I expected some ETF recommendations from you, but there's no actionable intel. Can you provide some? I experimented with KLIP and TSLY for a couple months and was not satisfied. I am trying CONY now.

  7. Do you or could you do ETF’s for Canadians ? I’m looking into VFV vs ZSP and maybe an equivalent to QQQM ? The conversion on wealth simple is 1.5 %. Any help for the Canadians would be much appreciated!!

  8. I'm sure you heard of Michael Saylor from Microstrategy. He said something interesting, that is a bit provocative. The more diversified your portfolio is, the less profits you will see.

  9. What is you opinion on HISA ETF? Do you think theya re considerably more riskier than a simple HISA? Assuming they were not being sold over a crazy premiuom (Crazy being > 1%) aren't they a tax efficient way of keeping an emergency fund?

  10. My portfolio consists of VOO and QQQM, but I took a risk on NVDA when it was at $678. So far I have no regrets, that single stock investment has almost doubled, I hope the upcoming split plays in its favor

  11. OK, people, if you don't want to waste your time, don't watch this video, nothing of value here, just basic financial common sense, but if you don't know basic financial common sense yet, do watch this video
